You are cordially invited to the GLOBE Regional Meeting for Europe and Eurasia that will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The GLOBE Europe and Eurasia regional meeting is hosted every autumn in one of the Europe and Eurasia region countries. It is a time for the GLOBE community to meet and exchange experiences.

The Meeting has two parts

  • Country Coordinators meeting on 11 – 12 November. Intended only to Country Coordinators and Deputy Country Coordinators
  • Community meeting on 13 – 15 November. Open to broader GLOBE Community

Registration is open by 10 October

The GLOBE Europe and Eurasia Regional Meeting is hosted every autumn in one of the Europe and Eurasia region countries. It is time for the GLOBE community to meet and exchange experiences.

This autumn we are looking forward to meeting you in person in Ljubljana, Slovenia!

The Meeting is organized by GLOBE Europe and Eurasia Region Coordination Office in cooperation with GLOBE Europe and Eurasia Board, GLOBE Slovenia with partners, and GLOBE Implementation Office, USA.

The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program is an international science and education program. It provides students and the public worldwide with the opportunity to participate in data collection and the scientific process and contribute meaningfully to our understanding of the Earth system and global environment.

There are more than 41000 GLOBE schools in 127 countries around the world. Over 870 thousand students have participated in GLOBE contributing more than 254 million measurements to the GLOBE database for use in their inquiry-based science projects.
